Absolutely excellent EVERY TIME we visit! We can't wait to go there when we are in town! The service is great, but the food is the BEST fish EVER!!

Poor - 1st and last time here. Figured we'd try somewhere different......BIG MISTAKE. We drove 40 minutes and the parking lot was packed so we figured this is going to be good.......NOT! First of all, i ordered a small platter and asked if i could get my scallops and shrimp broiled. The waiter said no everything is fried but you can pay $2 more and get your shrimp boiled, not broiled, but not the acallops, so that's what I went with. My husband got the seafood platter so we could try a little of everything. Next, we waited over an hour to get our food and it was cold. The couple next to us came in and in 15 minutes they had their food. Another couple said it wasn't usually this bad but I could tell they were fine with hard, cold, no flavor food because they ate all of theirs. So I had cold fried scallops and boiled shrimp. I asked the waiter for some melted butter. He brings back cold butter that was gritty. I decided thats fine, I'll just eat it plain and boy was it plain. No flavor whatsoever. It tasted like the cheap frozen bag shrimp from the grocery store but even i csn doctor it up to make it have flavor and taste good. The flounder on my husband's platter was hard as a brick but that was probably because the fish itself was maybe 1/4 inch thick while the hard batter was at least 3/4 inches thick. Well the dogs got allot of leftovers but they'll probably turn their nose up too. The waiter was nice and apologized several times but when someone has waited that long, you'd think they'd make sure that once we got our food it would at least be hot and good. Plus when someone asks if they can get their food broiled or even grilled, you don't tell them no we only have fried, you say sure but it may cost extra. I did feel a little sorry for him though because he was the only waiter for the entire downstairs and it was full. Im pretty sure that the lady that checked us out could tell we weren't very happy because she didnt even bother to ask how everything was but that's probably a good thing because I would have unloaded. Decided since she didn't ask, I wouldn't say anything because I just wanted to leave and never come back. Sad thing is, I have a coupon that we had already decided to use the next time but since there won't be a next time, guess that's a loss too.
